Open Notepad (Start->Run->notepad) or any simple text processor. And write this code :

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

and save with name virus.com

I prefer you to save it in desktop. Then open the the file virus.com and if your antivirus find it your antivirus is Ok and you can keep it , but if it doesn’t recognize it like a threat i prefer you to change your antivirus. Try it don’t be afraid , it doesn’t damage any part of computer.

My Antivirus caught it.. how about yours??
